CMTA celebrated its 20th anniversary in style at the Lights of Healing annual gala on November 11, 2018 at the Scarborough Convention Center.  Over 750 individuals attended this event, which focused this year on raising funds for a mental health project in partnership with Scarborough and Rouge Hospital. 

The evening’s events, led by emcees Roger Caesar and Manjula Selvarajah, included stimulating discussion with mental health survivor and advocate, Shannon Lavigne, as well as thought-provoking interpretive dance performed by Irudaya Dance Company.  It was an opportunity to honour CTMA’s work to date, recognize our partners, and network with other healthcare professionals and valued members of the Tamil community.
